Before starting any construction project that exceeds 30sqm or contains sleeping accommodation, it is a legal requirement to apply for building regulations approval. This ensures the work carried out meets current building regulations. We can support you with the necessary paperwork, plans and applications. This then entitles you to regular visits from building control throughout the build to ensure each stage is signed off.
If structural calculations are required for supporting steels associated with your design we can send photographs, measurements and plans to a qualified engineer who will provide these calculations remotely.
If you plan to build over or near any pipework, you may require a build-over agreement with your water provider. We can support you with obtaining approval via the appropriate processes.
